Silver Plated Scallop Trinket Dish
Silver Plated Scallop Trinket Dish
A sweet vintage silver plated shell dish with ball feet.
I see this lovely silver scallop dish sat next to the kitchen sink to hold rings while doing the washing up. It could also be used as a trinket dish, salt cellar, soap dish, to pop tea bags on, or as a purely decorative item.
The dish is EPNS marked but the original makers mark has unfortunately been polished away. It is similar in style to work by Reed & Barton or William Adams and likely dates from the late 1800s or early 1900s.
Dimensions:
Width 12cm
Length 15cm
Condition:
In excellent vintage condition with no wear through of the silver plating. It has been lightly polished as we feel the patina adds to it's charm.
